We provide local artists opportunity to sell their arts and fine crafts.
We support and encourage all types of visual and performing arts.
We have awarded over $52,000 in scholarships to graduating seniors pursuing a career in the arts.
We offer members events and field trips to local and state-wide destinations.
We have on-going artist workshops which are open to members and the public.
Thanks to Alpine Bank employee(s) for naming Redstone Art Foundation to receive a gift of $500 on their behalf, in honor of Alpine Bank’s 50th anniversary and the bank’s five decades serving Colorado Communities.
Our History
Redstone has always been defined by art. The New York Times in 1902 called Redstone “The Ruby of the Rockies” not just for the the stunning surroundings but for the grand buildings and “cutting edge” workmanship demonstrated throughout the village. Since the 1930’s, Redstone has had a reputation as an artist colony; many nationally acclaimed artist have found their way to our village in the mountain. Our foundation was started much later but we carry on the tradition and enthusiasm to keep art alive in our community.
