2026 Scholarship Winners
Congratulations to the 2026 Jack Roberts Memorial Scholarship
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2026 Jack Roberts Memorial Scholarship awards at Glenwood Springs High School. This year, five exceptional students were selected to receive scholarships of $2,000 each, for a total of $10,000 awarded.
The scholarship recipients, pictured from left to right, are Sofia Harwood, Kali Thomas, Kevin Castillo, Giselle “Gigi” Rascon, and Sofia Carmona Diaz.
The Foundation was deeply impressed by the artistic talent, creativity, commitment, and academic promise demonstrated by each of the students selected for this year’s awards.
The recipients will continue their studies in a variety of creative disciplines:
Sofia Harwood will attend the University of Michigan, where she plans to study Architecture and Urban Planning.
Kali Thomas will attend Arizona State University to study Architecture.
Kevin Castillo will attend Pratt Munson and later Pratt Institute in New York City, studying Fine Arts with an emphasis in Painting.
Giselle “Gigi” Rascon will attend the Laboratory Institute of Merchandising (LIM) in New York City, majoring in Visual Studies for a Bachelor of Business Administration degree with a minor in Fashion Styling.
Sofia Carmona Diaz will attend Colorado Mountain College, majoring in Studio Art with a minor in Graphic Design.
With this year’s awards, the Redstone Art Foundation has now awarded more than $90,000 in scholarships since the inception of the Jack Roberts Memorial Scholarship program.
We congratulate these outstanding students and looks forward to seeing the contributions they will make in the fields of art, architecture, design, and creative studies in the years ahead.
