Tours & Demonstration of Work in Ouray, Colorado
Mark Simpson’s Gallery - Monday at 2pm
Upon arrival at 2pm, the event will start with a tour of Mike Simpson’s Gallery at 450 Main St. Ouray. Simpson is a signature plein air artist and painter of the western states.
Ouray Glassworks - Tuesday Morning
In the morning, we will tour Ouray Glassworks, enjoy a demonstration of their art and get a chance to shop in their wonderful gallery.
Other Activities & Information
April is the off-season for Ouray which provides us with a quiet visit.
Accommodations are generally between $150-$200 per night for two people and you are free to select your own hotel or motel. Several of us will be staying at the Box Canyon Lodge which is $155 per night. There are other shops and several restaurants to enjoy as well. Plus, Ouray has sulfur-free hot springs! Ouray is a perfect backdrop for creating art with the Box Canyon just a short walk from downtown.

FREE to ATTEND! - Participants will need to cover the cost of food, lodging, and additional purchases.
Transportation - A carpool from Redstone to Ouray will be leaving the Redstone Inn at 8:00 am on Monday, April 17. Individuals wishing to drive themselves should meet at Mike Simpson's Gallery at 450 Main St. at 2:00 pm on Monday, April 17.
