Redstone Plein Air Kick-off to Summer
From Monday, June 22, to Sunday, June 28, Plein Artists will gather in Redstone, Colorado, to paint and display the art for all.
Public art demonstrations, artist discussion, quick draw painting contest, awards, live music, and more in Redstone! See art come alive and meet the artists.
Call for Artists:
Open to all plein air artists working in all painting and drawing media, including watercolor, acrylic, oil, gouache, casein, and pastel.
The Redstone Plein Air invites painters to capture the dramatic landscapes, historic architecture, and sweeping mountain views of the Crystal River Valley.
Hosted by the family-run Redstone Gallery, this juried plein air event is rooted in the mission of the Redstone Art Foundation: to promote and encourage the arts in the Crystal Valley.
The event is intentionally small, but growing, offering artists a true small-town experience with exceptional support from an art-loving community. Unique painting opportunities at private properties within the valley will be available to artists throughout the week.

Artist registration at 8am and painting in the valley around Redstone begins

Artist Paint Day - Plein air artists will be painting around Redstone. Come and watch as art is created.
Thursday, June 25:
Artist Paint Day - Plein air artists will be painting around Redstone. Come and watch as art is created.
Quick Draw competition in Redstone’s historic district
