In 1980, on the island of Oahu, another woman and I made Tree Shell necklaces from fungus which we found hiking in the mountains of Hawaii.  The fungus was dried and preserved.  The fungus centerpiece was attached to macrame and dyed cords and beads.  These necklaces are still being sold in shops on Oahu and Maui.

In 1993, I designed and built Crystal Dreams Bed & Breakfast in Redstone.  I love cooking and entertaining with an artistic flare.

I have a passion for volunteering my time organizing events, such as Redstone’s “Magical Moments” Summer Concerts, which started in 1997, in our quaint community.

In my free time, I engage in Watercolor painting, Encaustic Art, and Micaceous Clay hand building utilitarian pots and bowls.
