A Workshop with Barbara Churchley
Creating Dynamic Landscapes
Are there too many times when the dynamic vision in your head does not resemble the dull painting on your easel? We all want to create paintings with more confidence and expression, and in our own unique style. Join this workshop, and you will learn to strengthen your compositions, and use value and color temperature with greater skill to make your paintings sing.
Barbara Churchley is a Master Signature member of the Pastel Society of Colorado, Signature Member of the American Impressionist Society, International Plein Air Painters, Plein Air Artists of both Colorado and New Mexico, and Contemporary Fine Artists International.
She has won numerous awards, including several Best of Show awards, among them “Best of Show” at the 2017 Exhibition of Master Signature and Signature Members of the Pastel Society of Colorado.
She is a popular workshop teacher on the western slope, and has judged plein air events in Colorado and Utah.

Dates: Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30, 2021 from 9am to 4pm
Cost: $150/student (Limited to 8 students)
Mediums: Pastels, Oils, or Acrylics
